Avenham and Miller Parks are adjoining Parks that lie in the picturesque Avenham valley close to Preston city centre. Even though the parks are close to Preston’s main shopping and business area, their tranquil setting on the banks of the River Ribble offers a pleasant retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Winkley square is the equivalent to Central Park of Preston, its a nice square for a sandwich lunch break, surrounded by prestigious legal financial offices of Preston, stay with us and you can walk there with no parking issues each day.

Blackpool Wake Park

Blackpool Wake Park is set in one of the most tranquil spots in the UK and has 2 System 2.0’s and obstacles to test the best of riders, there is an onsite cafe and a south facing patio overlooking all the action, when the sun isn’t shining there is plenty of seating inside and chill shelters for the riders at the edge of the lake. They're open to the public throughout the year and offer a wide variety of activities wakeboarding, Stand up paddle boarding, Kayaking and open water swimming.

The National Park that is one of the best in the UK, is only 1 hr on the train or by car. our accommodation is much more affordable than is found in this tourist hotspot. So many things to see and walk and hike and outdoor activities within the Lake District. A true gem of England with stunning scenery. An area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Turbary Woods Owl & Bird of Prey Sanctuary

Turbary Woods Rescue and rehabilitation center offers a unique collection of over 90 birds of prey including eagles, hawks, falcons, owls, vultures and more unusual species. All the birds are housed in large open fronted aviaries, sheltered in a woodland setting. You can experience first hand the breathtaking flight of a falcon. Hawks, owls, and other varieties are flown here at the sanctuary. You can also gain hands on experience and knowledge about these fascinating birds.

Preston Guild Wheel

The Preston Guild Wheel is a 21 mile "Greenway" that encircles the city of Preston, linking the city to the countryside. It is both a walking and cycling route. The Guild Wheel route makes the most of the different landscapes that surround the city of Preston. It takes you alongside the gently meandering River Ribble, past ancient woodland, historic city centre parks, the Ribble link Canal, the largest nineteenth century dock in Europe and Brockholes Nature Reserve by the M6.
